Josh Privett is a Ph.D. student studying contemporary American literature at Georgia State University in metro Atlanta, Georgia (USA). His research interests center on religion, secularism, and postmodernism. He has recently presented papers on Kurt Vonnegut, Zadie Smith, and Don DeLillo at several academic conferences, including the American Literature Association, the Conference on Christianity and Literature, and the South Atlantic Modern Language Association. He has also published essays on Vonnegut’s fiction and has co-authored a high school American literature anthology.
